Norma L. Novak

Norma has been the stabilizing force, effecting smooth transitions.
She has a professional attitude, the ability, knowledge and experience, to know what to do. Each
case is given individual attention because it is someone’s concern or problem. Her
organizational skills were recognized early in her career with the firm. Norma was first assigned
the task of organizing and overseeing the administration of personal injuries cases; corporations
and insurance subrogation were soon added to her responsibilities. Now, with more than twenty-
five (25) years experience dealing with insurance subrogation, she is the supervisor and
paralegal for our State Farm Subrogation cases, handling and overseeing every aspect of the
cases from initial intake, filing suit to collection of judgments. The firm presently represents State
Farm in Northwestern Indiana.
Norma puts new meaning into the term “multi-tasking.” In addition to her responsibilities in the
Subrogation Department, she is the firm’s Administrator. As such, she directs our support staff,
organizes the case load, and has responsibilities for all the management activities of the office. In
2004, Norma designed our new Schererville Office, dealt with the contractors and supervised the
move. She is also the firms representative in the Schererville Chamber of Commerce.
Norma is an avid golfer. When not playing golf, gardening, traveling, working-out and home
projects occupy her time. She is a member of St. Maria Goretti Church.

County, Indiana. She was born in East Chicago,

Damaris joined the firm, then Richard J. Lesniak
and Associates, in 2000, as its receptionist. The
firm quickly realized Damaris’s talent for
organization and eye for detail. She was
promoted to legal secretary. As the firm’s
subrogation department grew, it became apparent
that a person was needed who could work on her
own, move cases along, handle payments and
case inquiries. Damaris was that person and still is a very influential part of the day to day
operations.
Damaris is also busy with her two sons, who are active in the Tri-Town Pop Warner Football,
Indian Wrestling Club out of Lake Central High School, and, Schererville Baseball and Soccer.
